 Tom Manges

Tom MangesTom Manges was born in Fort Wayne, Indiana. He graduated from South Side High School, Hanover College, and Indiana University School of Law (1992). He then joined what was then known as “Roby & Hood Law Firm.”

Since becoming a lawyer, Tom has only represented people injured or killed through the negligence of others. This includes cases involving people harmed in vehicle collisions, falls, by defective products, in hospitals, in nursing homes, by doctors, by animals, and at construction sites.

Tom is admitted to practice before the Indiana Supreme Court and the United States District Courts for the Northern and Southern Districts of Indiana, as well as the Seventh Circuit United States Court of Appeals. Tom is a member of the Allen County and Indiana State Bar Associations, the Indiana Trial Lawyers Association (ITLA), and the American Association for Justice. Tom is currently also serving as Program Chair for the Benjamin Harrison Chapter of the American Inns of Court.

Since 2004, Tom has been on the Board of Directors for the ITLA, the foremost group of attorneys representing accident victims in the State of Indiana. Tom has written and spoken at many seminars sponsored by the ITLA, and other legal organizations.  Dan Roby

Dan RobyDan Roby was born in Anderson, Indiana, on August 16, 1941. He graduated from Anderson High School in 1959 and from Indiana University with honors in 1963. He received his Doctor of Jurisprudence Degree from Indiana University School of Law in 1966 and has been in private practice since then, with his practice devoted exclusively to claimant’s civil litigation, including personal injury, wrongful death, product liability and medical malpractice. He is admitted to practice before the Indiana Supreme Court, the United States District Courts for the Northern and Southern Districts of Indiana, the Seventh Circuit United States Court of Appeals and the Supreme Court of the United States of America.

Dan’s memberships include the Allen County and Indiana State Bar Associations, as well as the Indiana Trial Lawyers Association and the American Association for Justice. He has served on the Board of Directors of the Indiana Trial Lawyers Association since 1980 and as their President in 1993.

Dan received the Indiana Trial Lawyer of the Year Award in 1986 and the ITLA Lifetime Achievement Award in 2004. He is certified as a civil mediator and arbitrator. He is recognized as a member of the College of Fellows of the Indiana Trial Lawyers Association and is listed among Indiana’s “Super Lawyers.” He carries an A rating from his colleagues who have chosen him and his firm among America’s preeminent lawyers.

Dan has published numerous articles for the Indiana Continuing Legal Education Forum and is often sought as a speaker for legal education programs. He is listed in Who’s Who in American Law, Who’s Who in the United States and in The Best Lawyers in America.

Outside the practice of law, Dan has served the American Heart Association in virtually every capacity available and received its Distinguished Achievement Award in 1985. He has served as President of the Allen County Heart Association and the Northeast Indiana Heart Association and as Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Indiana Affiliate of the American Heart Association. He has also served as Chairman of the Board and Moderator for Faith Baptist Church.
